Dust Free / Same-Day Traffic
Essentially dust free means that between 99.9 to 100% of the dust
created by sanders is removed and taken outside the home or business.
A very popular method of refinishing with our customers is one in
which light traffic is allowed on the floor on any given day during
the process.
This involves fast drying, eco-friendly waterbase finishes that
are actually far more durable than their older oil base competitors.These
finishes have little or no fumes and dry in about two hours. Several
coats can be applied in one day. In some cases, depending on the
size of the floor we can sand,stain and refinish a job with three
coats in one day!
However, we do offer and use oil base and other finishes as they
are still very popular. Contrary to popular beliefs, water base
finishes can provide the same depth level as oil and are again proven
to last longer. They also do not "yellow" over time as
might oil.
